I'm using GarageBand to record myself. So basically I have 3 individual tracks: the music, the main vocal, and then background vocal. Is there a way I can change the time intervals? Because when I try to move the tracks around, the intervals aren't quite right for my song and so it's always a little bit off. I hope I'm making sense.

At the top upper right corner of Garageband's main timeline window is a small icon of a ruler. Click that, and you'll see a drop-down menu where you can set the timing that the tracks you move around will "snap" to when you're done.

You can also turn off the snap to grid feature entirely and go it alone by choosing the control menu and deselect snap to grid.
