Timmy and the folks screwed up the iPhone launch again…or Apple just happened to develop more amazing “software” for pre-order.
Shipping was defaulted to September 25th, whereas in-store was September 19th.
I completed my order at 0601 (MDT). To validate the shipping vs in-store problem, I repeatedly selected different colors of the ProMax 256gb and all shipping dates were 09/25 whereas in-store remained 09/19.
I continued this process until 0622 and the dates remained unchanged.

Hats off to Apple for another amazing launch🙄

This happened to me too. I went in after I selected in store for 19th and completed my purchase and mocked up another purchase to see what dates were. Now it has delivers 9/19. (This was one black air 512)

Same here - 9/19 for ISPU placed 15 minutes after opening.

OTOH original pre-bagged order said 9/25 for delivery.

Seems like Apple wants you to pickup on launch day ???

Yup, they usually do as the next 7 days your shipment may get bumped up.

Had this happen many times before.

Sort of like under promise, over deliver ?
I’ve purchased every launch day since the original iPhone. I’ve personally never had shipping date differ from ISPU as default dates set by Apple.
