I mysteriously got into recovery mode one morning (i think it was iOS 6 updating itself) anyways well things went wrong when I wasnt aware and now my iPhone 4 is stuck in recovery mode (never jailbroke it)
I've been trying to use Tiny Umbrella and click "exit recovery" but all it does is put my iphone into a black screen! (I believe this is called DFU mode)
Someone please give me steps to getting out of Recovery mode with Tiny Umbrella, this **** isnt working.
I provided a screen shot, please tell me if I'm doing anything wrong

If your phone was updating to ios6 and things got screwed up, then you can't just get kicked back into ios5 (or 6, for that matter). It sounds like you need to plug into a computer and restore.

If it wasn't a screwup while updating to 6, maybe you have other options, but I'm not familiar with them. Good luck!

Yeah, trying doing a full restore via iTunes. Don't mess around with things like Tiny Umbrella.

If you can't get a restore to work, bring the phone into Apple. They'll help you out!
