Docuseries "Tiny World" debuted on Apple TV+ today. Narrated by Paul Rudd, the show looks at the world "through the eyes of the tiniest creatures."

Narrated by Paul Rudd, this docuseries showcases nature's lesser-known tiny heroes. Spotlighting small creatures and the extraordinary things they do to survive, each episode is filled with surprising stories and spectacular cinematography.
"Tiny World" is one of three documentary TV shows coming to Apple TV this fall. It will be joined by "Becoming You" and "Earth at Night in Color."

"Becoming You," which debuts on November 13, explores how children's first 2000 days shape their lives, following more than 100 children across the world from Nepal to Japan to Borneo. "Earth at Night in Color" comes out on December 4 and follows animals at night with Tom Hiddleston narrating.

Today also saw the release of the season finale of "Ted Lasso," and new episodes of spy drama "Tehran" and Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman travel series "Long Way Up."

All of the documentary shows are ‌Apple TV‌+ exclusives and can be watched by anyone with an ‌Apple TV‌+ subscription, which is priced at $4.99 for up to six family members. Apple still gives away a free year of ‌Apple TV‌+ with every Apple device purchase, though this free year can only be used one time per family.

Well the ad with the dreadful pop music and narrator that almost sounds like he is selling alien's built the pyramids aren't going to help push this as a documentary worth watching.

Could be, I suppose you could be right.

But I doubt posters crapping on the ad will stop many from watching what, to me, looks like an interesting series.

In any case, I liked both the music and the narration 🤷‍♂️

Awesome. If anyone is familiarized with ‘Planet Earth’ on BBC narrated by David Attenborough, this would be on par to that level. Definitely will tune in.

I'll certainly watch this, but I've been involuntarily conditioned over 50+ years to consider anything natural history not narrated by David Attenborough to be second-rate.

The videography may be on a par, but this looks like one where they try to make anthropomorphistic 'stories' out of the creatures (you know ... to appeal to kids!). Then throw Paul Rudd in as the narrator, that's likely to come across very cheesy.

Is this like the Tiny Creatures "documentary" on Netflix that basically put those poor animals into "staged" situations like a car approaching the poor frog really fast to tell a story? that one made me CRINGE
This looks like a rehash of BBC's Hidden Kingdoms (Stephen Fry was the narrator): https://www.bbcearth.com/shows/hidden-kingdoms/

That show has a baby sengi -- Tiny Earth also has a sengi (features prominently in the trailer). I'd wager they are the same recycled (but maybe re-edited) shots. BBC's Hidden Kingdoms had a number of staged shots (including the sengi running).

Tiny World should be worth watching but it looks like it's on the more staged / artificial side of documentaries (like BBC's Hidden Kingdoms) rather than the more observational documentaries.

Like the comment right below your's, Paul Rudd definitely is not suited for something like this. He's trying to sound all fun and whimsical and instead just sounds like a fakey dork.
Fakey dork or for realsies dork? Are you sure you know who Paul Rudd is? 🤣

Check out the clip and decide for yourself

But yeah, fun and whimsical I’ll agree isn’t everyone’s cup of tea 🤷‍♂️

Awesome series with really good streaming quality. The picture is awesome on my OLED TV. First show I’m watching on TV+ after having this subscription for almost 10 months.

Derivative, worthless filler material that adds nothing to similar programming which has steady been produced.

What is the point of Apple TV+ ?
I've only watched a few minutes and think it's awesome. Great photo and editing.

I don't see what's unoriginal about another movie about nature – always something exciting to show.

HDR is amazing wish I have oled tv it will look even better.

mini LED TVs I have found give you a bit better detail in the highlights while still having the rich blacks. It isn't that perfect black of OLED, but the brighter picture and highlight detail can be more immersive and for less money. Certainly for photo editing I am edging over to mini LED(and eventually micro LED) to have the best image possible.

Not impressed by the TV+ so far, but gonna give this a try
