So I initially wanted to downgrade from 4.3.1 to 4.2.1, but things got messed up and I ended up having to upgrade to 4.3.2 in order to do anything. Now I'm at 4.3.2 and I want to downgrade to 4.3.1 since that's the SHSH that saved (see below) but I'm stuck in recovery mode. The 4.3.1 firmware DID in fact install and I have successfully downgraded, despite getting the 1013 error, but now my iPhone keeps rebooting into recovery mode. I've used both TinyUmbrella and RecBoot multiple times and I've even installed 4.3.1 with TU twice. I'm at a loss and any help would be appreciated.

Yes, and 4.3.1 even install successfully I believe. Now I just can't kick out of recovery mode

same here.. i have never been able to kick out of recovery... right now want to upgrade from 4.1 to 4.3.1 and i have the shshs saved on cydia and locally...

Well, nothing from the above thread worked and now I'm just angry and tired. I've been trying to figure this out for the past 3 hours

I got the error code 1013 when I installed either the 4.2.1 or 4.3.1 but I had no problem getting into the DFU and either use greenPoison on 4.2.1 or the fix to kick out from the recovery mode on 4.3.1.

How did you use greenpoison on 4.2.1 in DFU? I remember that I entered DFU mode and greenpoison came up but it just said "Greenpoison initialized" or something like that for like, 5 minutes so I just put it into DFU again. This method seems promising and I need to NOM those details

I don't think you can go to 4.2.1 unless you have the SHSH saved for the 4.2.1.

However, here is what I did:

1. I got the error 1013 on the stage. The phone is in recovery mode.
2. put the phone into the DFU mode before I even run the greenpois0n.
3. Run greenpois0n

May be this can help: http://iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=12159
