sorry if this is being discussed elsewhere, I couldn't see it.

I am using TinyUmbrella v4.00.26 to backup my new iPhone 4's SHSH blobs incase I ever need to go back down to iOS4.0. I have ran it and it has said

cached [1] shsh files
>> Cached [1] shsh files
>> TSS Server has cached the following files:
>> iPhone4 4.0 (8A293)-1*****ecid****7
>> Devices with ECIDs matching the above AND restoring to the exact firmware version listed above will succeed!"

I had the location set to cydia, so I presume this means sauriks server will now have the SHSH on file?

How do I go about getting a local copy of this SHSH file? I thought it made a copy in my documents but there is nothing there. I tried changing the location to localhost, but that just sits there "processing SHSH request"

it saves a copy automatically to your HD. To access it open finder, click go then got to folder. Type in /Users/yourusernamegoeshere/.shsh

It should take you straight to it.

i have read that on blogspot, ive searched through all the users folder and there is no .shsh

On Mac, it's a hidden folder. So I suspect it could be the same on Windows. If so, in Windows Explorer check your View > Options > Show all files (or something like that... I haven't touched Windows in a few years!).
