I'm trying to do a restore using TU and would like to re-install 4.1. What is the difference in the two 4.1 blobs I have? Which one should I choose? thanks in advance.

I believe they are for different phones. The long number at the end is your phone's unique ECID. Use the one for the phone you want to restore.

Makes sense.. This is my 2nd ip4. How can I find my phones ECID to make sure I am using the correct blob? what would happen if I selected the wrong one?

The easiest way would be to plug the phone in and select it in TU. It should say it towards the bottom of the screen in a textbox.

You don't need to worry about this issue. TU will identify the phone when it is plugged in. You don't have to select the shsh to use.
