I wonder if this does any good to non-developers or if The Dev Team plans on using those for a later untethered JB.

Rumors has it that they got a real cool and easy userland exploit, however it is such a "easy" to detect that it may be fix before final release, so they are doing a breaking point at b2 and see what happen.

I wonder about this too. They surprised all when suddenly they made the 42b3 hash available to us. Who knows what's lurking in their shop these days? This is worth the no-brainer effort it takes to retrieve.

He just released an update to the update a little while ago. Jeeze.

The OSX link from the site appears to be broken. When I click on it I get a page full of junk instead of a download.

I kept getting 'page can not be displayed' but eventually it worked. Just keep trying... or right click and 'download linked file as...'.

so if tinyumbrella saves my 4.2b3 blob will you be able to untether immediately or wait until the 4.2b3 blob is saved on the cydia server?

Interesting, tried the OSX download again and still seeing same problem. No trouble getting the linux or windows versions. Switched browser to Safari from Firefox and got it okay.

I think you really misunderstand what this does. The SHSH blob will not do anything to untether or jailbreak your phone. The only thing it will do is allow you to restore to 4.3b2 after Apple stops signing it (assuming you are even a developer with access to the beta firmware). You will still have to wait for developers to release an actual tool to jailbreak your device.

I got it fine in Firefox. Likely just a server issue that resolved itself.

Or you caught him when he updated the program again. He just put out the third update in less than 24 hours.
