This may sounds obvious, but when I upgraded my Macbook to the 320 GB hard drive, I thought it would be cute to name the new drive something different than "Macintosh HD"

Well, imagine my surprise when I couldn't access my old Time Machine backups with the new drive. When browsing the Time Machine folders on the backup drive in Finder, I realized that the name of the hard drive is the first folder under the time and date stamped folder...

After changing the name back, I can access all my old files again.....
