Those of you using Microsoft Exchange on your iPhone to sync Calendar, Contacts and email... here's a tip:
Every so often, DELETE your account and then set it up from scratch. This will rebuild your databases, getting rid of any garbage, and make the phone perform better.
I just did this today and saw a nice improvement. Not huge, but noticeable improvements in responsiveness in Contacts, Calendar, and Mail. Previously I've reset my phone (both soft and hard resets), and even restored it once, but these procedures don't actually reset the phone's Exchange databases.
What prompted me to do this was I was running into cases where a calendar entry on my phone was not syncing to Exchange. Most were, but this one wasn't. So I figured it was refresh time.
