Hello everyone,
I found this to be very useful for myself, so I thought some other mac users out there may find it useful as well. Basically, I access a lot of network shares a day, and I don't like to keep them connected. Using this method I can access them on demand without touching my keyboard, and without going into complicated menus.
1. Make a folder in a place of your choice, put a nice icon on it for a nice sleek look.
2. Throw all the Alias of the network shares you want to connect to in the newly created folder (To make a alias of the share, have the share connected, control-click / right click it and select Make Alias)
3. Drag your folder down to the dock, on the right hand side of the separator.
Here is my setup as an example.
Hope that's useful for everyone!
