I'm looking to get out of my Sprint SERO contract. My contract is up in June 2009.
1) Is there currently any tricks to getting out of my contract without a ETF? I know there have been a few in the past (I managed to get out of my Verizon plan due to a rise in text message prices)
2) If I sell my contract to someone over the internet, is there any way to keep my number? My friend, who is a manager at Sprint, told me the number is tied to the contract and there is no way to keep it.
3) How do I go about giving the contract to someone who doesn't have a Sprint store near them? My friend said I need to go to the Sprint store, sign off on mine, and have his faxed to his Sprint store. Is there any way to do all of this online through eCare?
4) Any other advice?
