Tips for reserving an iPhone 5?

I'm trying to reserve an iPhone 5 to pick up tomorrow, but none ever seem to be available. I've checked at 10 every night but I've had no luck. My friend said their were some tips on MacRumors for reserving an iPhone but I can't find the thread.
