Tips for selling 3GS (AT&T - 16gb)

I should receive my 4S in a couple of weeks and then I'll be selling my old one on eBay. Any tips? Do I restore and then reinstall IOS 5?

I'm assuming I can sell this since my contract has expired.

Restore it in iTunes. Then when iTunes says "You device is restarting. Leave it plugged in." unplg your iPhone. Then turn it off with the red slider and remove the SIM. Now when the buyer gets it, it'll be just like a factory iPhone.
