There is an app for transferring all your data on the App Store. Other than that you can download the iPhone user guide in the iBook app on the phone and that has everything you need.
If you don't have an iTunes account then be smart when setting the device up. Do not use your current email address for iTunes. Set up an iCloud account and use this for both iTunes and iCloud syncing. It keeps things simple in the future.
No you can do it on the phone just read the screen as you go through the setup.Should I create an Apple ID account before I get the phone?
I switched over from Android (Nexus) to iPhone 6s plus this weekend. The app move to iOS was a piece of crap. It didn't import my contacts correctly and now there's no easy way to import them. Had to take the long route and import from Gmail which had its own share of problems
Hopefully you'll have better luck with the app.

Gmail can be added to the mail app or you can use the stand alone app.
Calendar and contacts can be transferred easy enough. Just google move contacts from Google to iOS and there's a lot of guides to do so.
Yes mateI'm assuming this is the easiest way to do it. Says it's for iPad but it should work with an iPhone too right?
