Tips on preventing Bodyguardz application solution getting into openings?

Hi, I just got my Bodyguardz for iPhone 3G arrived and I want to apply it right now. However I am really afraid of the application solution getting into the openings (especially headphone jack, you know, there's a moisture indicator).

Is there any tips on preventing this? I have thought of plugging in a headphone and the USB cable while applying so liquid won't get into it, is this applicable?

I've done multiple applications of BestSkinsEver (same thing) and have never had an issue. If it really worries you, just grab some pocket lint and stick it in there til you're done.

Good luck! Remember to be patient and don't give up until it's perfect.

Patience is key. It takes me about an hour just to do the backing. Have fun with the corners when it comes time to keeping them down.

It took me a total of 1.5 hours to apply it, and is applied perfectly.
