Hi,

I share my shortcut that displays battery informations from analytics files.

https://routinehub.co/shortcut/19090/

A few explanations:
UpdateTime.
Date of the last battery analysis (value in Unix Time)

Battery Health Capacity.
(Nominal Charge Capacity / Design Capacity of your iPhone)*100
If the battery is new this value can be >100%. New batteries have a Nominal > Design Capacity.

Battery Health iOS
Battery percentage value for iOS in the analytics file.

Manufacture Date
Value of the year and week of manufacture of the battery.

Last state of charge.
Minimum and maximum percentage value of the day (at the time of update time)

High State Charge.
Number of hours the battery was in a high charge level (80-100%)

Temp. during Charge.
Average temperature when the charger is plugged in.

Temp. min max.
Recording of the minimum and maximum temperatures of use. (I don't know if this value is correct)

How to use ?
- Click on shortcut Battery Report Vcard
- Click on the last Analytics-year-mm-dd-time.ips file
- Click on “Share”
- Share with Battery Report Vcard

This Shortcut doesn’t work on iOS bêta version.

Wow, thanks!
I like the comprehensiveness of the data and the GUI as well as the fact that more is explained in detail. 👍🏻
I also find it very helpful that the development of the battery health is continuously saved in a note 😀

What I don't understand, however, is that when I click on Update, I end up on the Downloads page of the shortcut. 🤔 There is no verification as to whether the current update is already being used. Is this still being adjusted by you?
Do you really have to initiate the update manually or does a synchronization take place in the background when you use the shortcut?

Assuming the charge temp is accurate, it looks like charging via an old Apple 5w block really reduces temperature. Maybe it really is better for the battery. Thanks OP.

Thanks for your feedback guys. :)

I just updated to version 2.7 (2025/02/02)
- It fixes the issues with iOS 18.3 (thanks Apple...)
- The execution speed is back to normal. But it also depends on the size of the scan file. ;-)
- I added the execution time in milliseconds to control the speed.

@Ready-for-Apple
For the update.
There is a notification that indicates when an update is available, with the current version number and the version you are using.
Yes, you have to update manually for now.
Later I can add automatic update, IF the shortcut still runs quickly...

For the error about "Battery Health with MaximumFCC", thanks, it is fixed. ;)

@Andy_2341
The temperatures during charging are displayed every quarter of an hour in the analysis file when the charger is plugged in. I take all the temperatures during charging and I make an average.
I did some tests on my iPhone 12 Mini: The temperature is almost identical with a 5V or 9V charger.
;)

Hi @Mhamad651

If the shortcut displays 90.12%, it copies 90.12% to the note. There can't be a difference.

However, the battery health in the settings may be different from that displayed in the note and the shortcut.
What is the exact model of your iPhone?

Note: Update the shortcut because you're using an older version. The new version uses the , not the .

@Shamalow thank you very much for your shortcut and the quick fixes. 👍🏻

Unfortunately, your shortcut does not seem to support beta versions, because since I installed 18.4 Public Beta, it no longer works.😢 That is a pity, because another battery shortcut also works with the betas: https://www.itecheverything.com/powerutil
Maybe you could look at what you could implement so that your excellent shortcut also works with the betas.🙏

Hi @Ready-for-Apple ✌️🙂

It's true, my shortcut never worked on all beta versions.

Battery Report has 200 actions to display multiple values and perform multiple calculations.

PowerUtil has 162 actions to display two values and perform two calculations. It's simpler.

I think Apple doesn't enable all the shortcut actions on beta versions.
And I don't know which ones.🥲

I'm sorry, but I have no desire to install betas to understand what's going on with Apple bêtas.

You'll have to wait for the Release Candidate version, which should arrive in a few days. 🙃🤞

Hi @Fred Zed

You've posted several screenshots.
But did you know you can take a single screenshot of the entire page?

- Take a screenshot
- Click the Full Page button at the top
- Save the screenshot.

⚠️ I see a lot of hacked refurbished iPhones.
More and more sellers are scamming customers. They change the battery health to 100% in the settings without changing the battery.

The analytics files and this shortcut reveal the truth about the battery.

Hi @Ready-for-Apple

History is now visible in 🌿History.

I was thinking about maybe removing the backup in Apple Notes for future versions.

What do you think about this? Is this a problem for you? 🫣
