Hi,

due to a fault I'm looking to replace the keyboard on my tibook 667 Mhz (gigabit ethernet - no DVI socket for me, alas). It looks like a fairly easy job but first I have to find a replacement. There are several on ebay, but only for the first generation tibook machines (i.e. 400 & 550 mhz) or the DVI machines (i.e. 667Mhz -> 1 Ghz, with DVI). So my question is - is my machine capable of accepting one of those? They all look pretty much identical, but for slight variations in which keys go to the right of the space bar. But is the hardware otherwise compatible?

Considering the kind of tax you pay in UK and EU, it might even be worth your while to buy stuff from the US and pay the shipping rates.
