Hi,

I've owned the 500mhz and 867mhz Titanium Powerbooks and found them to be quite noisy. Do you know if the 800mhz version is any quieter?

Thanks.

My 1GHz is silent, I mean seriously, I never hear the fans start up even when I'm encoding DVDs or rendering particularly large 3D models.

My 1Ghz TiPB is silent as well during normal use. Now the fans do kick on when I am running some of my audio apps, but those typically run at around 90% CPU load and are often ran at the load for fairly long times (up to 30 mins).

Interesting. My used 867 TiBook that I owned briefly was very noisy. The fan would come on from just surfing in Safari and be very loud.
