Differences? Titanium more durable? Does it look similar to aluminum? How was the ceramic in the past?

Bummed the aluminum and the titanium look almost the same. I have been wanting a new watch for a different look...seems too similar.

And why no upgraded chip! Sad.

The chip is upgraded just not faster. The compass and new display require a new SIP- the S5. There likely are power saving improvements since the battery life is said to be the same. I'm bummed that with the DLC coating you can't tell the SS from the TI without picking it up. At least the Ti should be less allergenic to those people who can't wear SS.

False. I don’t understand why no one’s doing research on this, it has been upgraded:

Has anyone been particularly upset about the S4 being slow? It's not an argument I've heard. Faster is always nice, but I don't quite get the complaining I'm hearing today about the S5 not being faster than the S4.

If both the Ti and SS models are DLC coated, it shouldn't make much difference for allergies, should it? They'd be set off by contact, not proximity, and in either case skin would just be contacting the DLC coating.

True as long as the coating on the back of the watch does not wear down from rubbing on skin.

Can’t decide between either

Leaning more towards the TT because of cost difference and not to mention the resale of the ceramic is usually pretty bad

As anyone noticed now the titanium models come with an extra strap in the box.

If u take away the cost of the additional
strap you have to buy the TT are the same cost as the SS models

I would rather them not require us to get another strap and we pay less for the TT

Bummer. .. I want a dark gray sports band ha Hope I can find one that someone doesn’t want on eBay or something.

I have an Armani Titanium Ceramic watch (they call it "Ceramica"). It was about $400 five years ago. I wish Apple would consider making something similar. It has the durability of ceramic and unique look and lightness of titanium. It actually looks like something pulled from an alien spacecraft.

Of the three models, I think the Ceramic is the nicest looking. I love that white finish. If money were no object (and it is) I would definitely spring for it. As it stands I'm still very happy with my SS Gold S4.

I can’t understand the need to be forced to buy another band with the edition models
Given that they come with a band in the box already.

I suppose I’ll end up selling the “band of my choice” and offset the cost of the watch with it
