titles in iDVD?

Hi
I am working on my iDVD project. Is there any way of placing the titles on each of the slides/pictures?
It seems like it's impossible, though it's hard to believe since it's well designed application.
also, does anybody know if there is a difference in quality between PAL format and NTSC?

Haven't used iDVD in a while so I can't answer the first Q, but PAL has more lines of resolution than NTSC does.
