Anyone here use a TiVo with TiVo Desktop 1.9.3 for their Mac. I've got this delay problem that is driving me nuts and I don't know if it's a TiVo software problem or a problem with my setup.

The deal is that TiVo Desktop runs like a web server on a certain port. That's how your actual TiVo box connects and communicates with your Mac and sends your music and photos and now .tivo videos. You can also use a browser to connect. The problem I'm having is that everytime a request is made to my TiVo Desktop software running on my Mac is there is a 30 second delay between the time the request is made and when the response first begins streaming.

I'm running 10.4.7 (or whatever the latest is). I'm wondering if the problem was related my Mac setup or my network setup what could I do to isolate the problem. The TiVo connects to the Mac on port 8101. I've changed routers and switches and that didn't help. I've also tried running the TiVo Desktop software on another Mac and it has the same problems.

The ports are open and eventually the request is fulfilled, but there is a consistent 30 second delay.

Any help appreciated. Thanks
