TM backup of Parallels VM

I have been excluding my Parallels vm of Win 7 in my TM backups. I'm going to be upgrading to Parallels 7 and am rethinking my Windows backup strategy. Does anyone use TM to backup their Windows VMs? I know with Parallels 6 there were changes to make it use less disk space.
