TM local snapshots

I installed my SSD then used old hard drive for TM. I then realized that TM was creating local backups on my internal SSD. I did a lot of reading and used the "sudo tmutil disablelocal" terminal line and i turned off TM like many articles say to do so that the local backups will be deleted. However now I have TM off and the local backups are still on my SSD and worse it is growing still. I dont know what to do.

Can anyone help? Please?
