Carrier Tmobile $70 Unlimited plan

So if I were to purchase a micro sim with the $70 unlimited plan from tmobile would I be able to use that sim in my att ipad 4 and get unlimited data?

It should work. Since they are botch GSM, there should be no problem.

I know that the iPad is unlocked. I just don't know if it will work because the $70 plan is for a phone not a tablet.

It will not work just as it will not work with a Nexus 7. It will take you to a login page. You can only use a T-Mobile data sim in an iPad.

It used to work for me and has stopped using my $30 T-Mobile phone sim.
