Its not too bad... I found one for 90% off the retail price in October at a clearance center....

We have a vinyl liner in ground pool. It seems to be fine.

I don't think a lot of people do fiberglass pools around here, but I can't say that for sure. Everyone I know has a liner pool or a gunite pool.
