To all Folks who have above ground pool, How long do you have yours?

My Family is thinking of getting an above ground pool. Need your advise! How long do you have your pool? Is it expensive to replace the liner. Thanks in advance!!

I have an in ground pool but I think they are overrated. I spend 2 hours a week at least cleaning it- algae, dirt, bugs, etc. I've literally swam in it maybe 3 times this summer. If you get an above ground pool you'll be sure to tear it down eventually like most people do just because they're kids grow up and they don't want to take care of it.

Sorry if I sound negative.

I've only known 1 person whose had an above ground pool break on them. If you do get one just get a good one. I believe there are options for the thickness of the vinyl, obvious get the best you can afford.
