Told ya!

For months (years actually) there was absolutely no shortage of naysayers who claimed that Apple would never again reduce the size of the iPhone.

And even though nothing is official, I am convinced this will in fact happen: Apple Will Reportedly Launch Three OLED iPhones in 2020 Including Smaller 5.42-inch Model With Thinner Display

Bam! You were wrong lol

How can you be wrong about something that can’t be proved? Because YOU are convinced? Back in your box.

But it will be proved. Therefore, you will be wrong. Might as well break it to you now. Why wait?

This rumor doesn't suggest anything about reducing the size of the iPhone. It suggests an additional small model may be in the works, but the larger phones are still being made. In other words, there will still be the larger phones that most of us prefer .. they're not getting reduced.

Let's assume you are right. The argument hasn't been over a small phone. The argument has been over whether Apple will release an iPhone SE2.

Unless you can prove (and not just by your own opinion) that this 'small' phone is named the SE2 then there's no argument and you haven't won anything.

Surely 5.4 inch is going to be pretty much the case size of the current iPhone 7/8? If so, it’s more a case of bringing that design / form factor across to the new FaceID / full screen design.

5.8” iPhone = “huge/oversized/phablet”

5.4” iPhone = small

Got it.

This thread is hilarious.

Because you look like an idiot if the rumour is wrong...
AirPower was actually announced by Apple and still didn’t happen.

Self control allows you to save face in situations like this.
To make matters worse, it’s a rumor for 2020. o_O

The problem with your belief, is you can’t say anything that it will be ‘proved’, when this is just based off a rumor that really doesn’t have any credibility to be accurate as of yet. This is too far off (2020) yet to know exactly what will happen. Yes, it’s likely a smaller iPhone _could_ happen in the future, but to tell people other in this thread that ‘it will be proved’ is completely far-fetched and blatantly untrue.

2020?

I wonder how many more threads will be made between then and now.

Also...have you not heard of AirPower?
