Hello,

I am trying to sync between my Macbook Air and iPad, it’s been about a year since my last sync.

Both are totally up to date, however when I connect via USB, my Mac asks about accessing the iPad and how I will need to allow this on my iPad. Fairly standard stuff.

However the equivalent message does not appear on my iPad.
I can’t think of anyway around this, so I’d really appreciate any help

I’ve google but all I can find are iPads with broken screens or nonfunctional devices. Both of mine are working fine, just not connecting for some reason.

Have you tried another, known good, cable?
