iPod To Buy, or Not To Buy

Greetings all!

Myself and a couple friends are really torn on wether or not its 'safe' to buy an iPod Video at the current time and are looking for advice.

The 9/12 updates to the Video iPods seem rather minor in comparsion to what most were expecting - we're worried that Apples gonna throw an actual new iPod at us in time for the holiday season --

What do you think?

I don't know, if Apple is developing a video iPod with a larger screen, do you think they would release it before Christmas to get that rush or would they do like they usually do and release it at MWSF?

I believe it won't come out before Christmas.

It will most likely be unveiled in MWSF.

Also, you have to take into account... time for stocks to come in... 2 weeks, time for all the bugs to get ironed out, about another 2-3 months already.

So it's safe to say that the 5.5G will last for six months at least

That's what I would assume, too. Apple likes to make people jealous of the new stuff right after they got the old stuff for XMas.
