Is this allowed/supported?
I will preorder to be dropped off at my house on the 24th as soon as possible.
My plan is not currently up, but the main line on my account is. I can buy it saying it is for the main line and have it shipped here, put the phone in MY computer(not the main lines) and register it to my, ineligible upgrade, old sim?

Sorry for a somewhat useless/already doen thread. i just want to know if this specific circumstance is allowed or not. After a couple yes/no please let it die.

3. Can I use someone else's upgrade? Yes, this is called an "upgrade swap". AT&T will allow you to upgrade any line to receive a new phone. You can then activate that phone on any phone line you like. Apple is able to do this in store also, but it requires a bit more time since they have to call AT&T first. If you pre-order and recieve the phone by mail, you will need to contact AT&T to let them know that you will be activating the phone on another line.

Thank you, i knew i read that somewhere. I just dont want to get a phone i cannot use because I got it delivered.

So get it delivered and bring it in?
I cannot wake up early and camp out. I have morning water polo at 6 in the fu**ing morning.
