Hi,

I'm looking for a simple to-do list that will synch between my iPhone and macbook.

I'm currently using Clear, but I need to find a new app because Clear doesn't allow me to save my completed tasks. Once I mark something as completed, the task disappears for good.

My perfect app would somehow store completed tasks somewhere. I'd like to periodically go back and remind myself of projects/tasks that I've worked on.

Might anyone have a better solution for me? Any ideas are most appreciated.

Did you try the stock Reminders App? It meets all of your criteria. Sync it via iCould and it'a always on your phone and mac. You can see completed tasks too, or hide them (but they're still there until you actually delete them). Just think of it as a To Do list instead of a reminder.

Bonus: You can use Siri to set them!

What do you need that is lacking in the Reminders app that's built in to OS X/iOS?

thanks everyone for the suggestions

thanks, these are exactly the suggestions i was looking for.

i think i'll start out by trying reminders. believe it or not, i've never used the app before. i tried keeping track of things via Notes, but that would require to me to cut and paste if i wanted to move from one list to the other.

i'm also going to give the others a whirl.
