Having an internal battle right on getting the series 8 or not through AT&T. Was going to trade in my series 6 with cellular but they only offer $30. Looking else where to trade in. Would only be an extra $28 monthly to add the Apple Watch to my plan

Thoughts? It’s the series 8 worth it? Are you happy with yours.. I can’t decide :(

What do you need the 8 has that your series 6 doesn't?

If money isn't an issue go for it. I change every year but my wife is still rocking a 5 and is still happy with it.
The temperature sensor is enticing

I am sticking with my Series 7, and in fact my old Series 6 would probably be fine if it weren’t at the bottom of a lake 😬

But yeah, like other said - if it has features you’d find useful, and you can afford it, go for it! That’s pretty much how I judge all my upgrades.

I had a different reason than most to upgrade my three watches in December. For four years I had the smaller size...40mm then 41mm. I always thought my wrist was too small for the larger size. After reading some thoughts in forums and Reddit, I measured my wrist to find it's 178mm, right at 7 inches. I traded my three 41mm S7s for 45mm...... an S8 SS gold, S8 silver alum and an Apple refurbished S7 blue (I love that color). They all have the leather magnetic link bands. I love the larger size screen and I think they look great on my wrist.

I’m curious: why three AW?

I have the S7 Red, beautiful watch. But I would like to get a Gold one as well.

I've never had red but it does look sharp. I like the way it stands out. Well when I got my first AW I thought the bright gold was a little too flashy. But I came around and I love it now. I have the midnight leather magnetic link band on it. It's a good match with the gold.

Your question reminded me of the Apple service rep when I called to get reimbursed for the balance of Apple Care on my three watches I traded. When he answered I apologized when I told him that I had three trades. He wasn't very friendly through the process and it took him a while to get through the three watches. Twenty minutes later when he was finished I apologized again and he said "nobody has three Apple Watches". When I hung up I thought, well I do. 😂

@Piscestg first time that I heard about someone with three, two new models and one previous 😅

But world is nice because each one of us is different, I think 😉
Well the only reason I got the S7 blue refurbished from Apple was because they dropped that color from the 8s and I love it. But it looks brand new and the battery is at 100%. I never bought a refurb before but I don't even think of it now.

Yes, think if we were all the same. Ha. I also never forget that I'm fortunate to be able to buy these fantastic toys. :)

C‘mon, you‘ve been around here long enough to know that there are many posters that have more than one Watch. Some even run into the limitation of „only“ 5 Watches that can be paired to your iPhone at the same time … 😲

And why not? They do look different enough to be worn to different occasions. Especially now that the Ultra spices things up.

I didn’t know that five is the max to pair. NOT that I’m getting any more. My wife is cool and understanding with all the Apple devices I’ve purchased but I don’t want to push my luck. 🤣🤣🤣
