I currently have a Nokia 6500s and I've had this sim card ever since I got my first mobile phone. I was wondering if when I do get my iPhone (when it's released here in Australia), do I need a new Sim card? Because I like my number and I have everything (contacts etc) on my current sim card.

I currently am on Optus and am going to get a iPhone locked to Optus.

Your number will be transfered to your new Sim and they can also transfer your contacts. You'll be fine :)

That's good, because I've been worrying about that AND not being able to get one the day after launch date. I've picked the day after launch date because that is when my previous 24 month contract finishes :D
