This used to be a place to talk about productive machines, now it's a place to talk about which shoes go best with the Apple Watch.

"If you don't like it don't comment on it" in 3... 2.....

I just wish there was an option for blocking news about the Apple Watch.

Dear Apple, get back to the basics. It was enough for the Chinese to be building our computers, but now you have them building $17,000 watches for supermodels. From the frying pan to the fire.

MacRumors, can you please not flood your news feed with articles about which celebrity is wearing an Apple Watch? Or maybe create a separate website for it? Perhaps something more akin to a fashion website than a technology website?

End rant. Open beer.

Perhaps, perhaps. Anyway, the beer is calming me down now. I can get over the fact I'm not palling around with fashion designers in Milan for a few minutes.

Ha, if there's one thing I've learned from these past few weeks is how many anti fashion guys who are strictly ALL MAN there are on this board.

I get the impression it's an American thing, feel free to correct me.

Joking aside, I get it. It's not the same here as it used to be. I miss the old days of weighty discussions on obscure geeky stuff - pointlessly pedantic as they could often become. Nowadays, MR feels like an unholy alliance of reddit, GQ, Cosmopolitan and E! :(

I'm an American man and I'm anything but anti fashion! I've already thought about clothes to match my watch band :D

Bonus points for proper title case in your thread title. ;)

While I'm enjoying the Apple Watch fashion conversations, I can see how unappealing they might be to other members of MR.

Keep the beer fridge stocked for a good while.

I seriously don't get people like you. I mean, I totally do get that you hate the product but gee.... Is it really that hard to ignore it? You have to even open a thread about it? Com on!!! :mad: Doesn't occur to you that what you may not like, others do like? I mean seriously, how hard is to just ignore the subforum of the Apple Watch? There is 80% of the section of MacRumors forum that I have never visited because I have not interes but I don't go there crying about their existence! How can you be so selfish?

It's generating a significant proportion of the post count at the moment, most of which is of questionable quality having been asking seventeen times already or being utter fluff. All for a product that people don't even have possession of yet.

Out of the new posts bit a few second ago :
"Pending charges are GONE!"
"What will happen if black SS scratches?"
"Music on Apple Watch but not on iPhone"
Umpteen threads on straps

This is the only one that looks mildly interesting :
"Why didn't apple just use the lightning cable for the watch?"
 
If I see one more post on which size people should get, i'm going to spit. If they only made one size, this board would shut down due to inactivity.
