What's it to you, bub?
Its a simple question, with an answer easy for some and more difficult for others. I have an 8gb 2nd gen ipod touch and my firmware is 2.2.1 . I have applecare for about 2 years and i know you can jailbreak 2.2 now with redsnow or some patch. What i want to know is if it is really worth voiding the warranty and wasting the money on the applecare i already got. what do u guys think, is it worth it?

yes, it is worth it, and if you have any problems just put it into DFU mode and restore, and there you go, you have your warranty back

Don't do it until a full version of redsn0w is released. Otherwise you will have to connect it to a computer everytime you reboot the phone. And a lot of stuff can go wrong too.

I don't reboot that often so I don't notice the tethered part of the jailbreak that much, and nothing went wrong with my jailbreak
