To Jailbreak or not to Jailbreak....?

Folks,
OK so I jailbroke my 3G, but I'm not seeing the benefits or maybe I'm missing something.....
It's real cool to change the themes and such, but what are some of the useful "free" apps that make me say "OOOOOooooooo that's what I'm talking about!!"
Help me out.....

Your lack of input on this subject is due to the fact that over the last 3 years there have been close to a billion (yes, a billion ) threads by this EXACT title.

Most people are probably tired of reading the same thing.

Check those out and see if they have any valuable information - probably your best bet.
