How many people could/would buy an iPhone 5 if it was released tonight instead of the 4S had some companies not moved up eligibility? Would most of you pay the ~$200 to break your contract + the $200+ for the latest version when you just got the 4 a year ago? I mean after all, it's just a phone guys. It's naive to think Apple isn't on a cycle, specifically a 2 year cycle...kind of like the one 99% of people sign up for when they buy their iPhone. The 4S isn't for people that got the 4 at launch..it's for people like me that got the 3GS. I prefer a redesign like everyone else. But I APPRECIATE modest improvements when my upgrade happens to be eligible as well. If you got the 4..quit whining, your lucky to be in that segment of the "cycle".

My upgrades come every year, so I enjoy redesigns, and the speed improvements. I actually think that I like the S upgrades more, even if I don't have a shiny new design to show my friends.
