Alright so first of all at the beginning i had this problem:

A friend of mine gave me his iPhone 3GS (Old Bootrom) (imported from america to holland)

So he accidently update'd his iPhone to 5.0.1 and couldn't get across the start up screen from iOS 5. So i said, lemme have a look.... So i jailbreaked the iPhone using Redsn0w (I'm on a mac) and installed Ultrasn0w. Well then i had the "No service" issue, Update'd baseband to 06.15.00 (iPad) but with no luck. So i started google'n and tried SO HARD to find the awnser... but no success. UNTILL....... i came across a post on this forum that said: "Downgrade to 4.1, fresh restore iPad baseband & install ultrasn0w again", so i did. EVEN AFTER PWND DFU VIA REDSN0W!!!

So here's the problem:

Iphone 3GS (on 4.1, BB 06.15.00) (4.1 firmware works btw)
STILL "NO SERVICE"
And i can't update to 5.0.1 anymore (error 1600) to use this iPhone as an iPod and wait for a fix.

Can somebody please help me!
