Hey...

Unfortunately, I've been having some problems with my TiBook 800 MHz (DVI). The display would start messing up and I've had to send it in to AppleCare a few times (which expires in September).

Well, the last time, they replaced the logic board because of the continuing problems. But instead of replacing it with a 800 MHz processor, I got an upgrade to 867 and the ATI 9000 instead of the ATI 7500. :D Just thought it was great and made me much happier that it took two weeks and I've had to send it in a couple of times.

Anyway, that's it.

Another good example of why Applecare is worth it....especially on portables. :)

Yes, I'm definitely recommending it for any portable purchase. Especially since the part alone costs in the 500 dollar range.
