To Next Generation ipad users..

Hi to all and congrats on you guys getting your 3rd edition of the ipad
Our release date is the 23rd of this month.(NZ)

OK heres what I would like to know, Im selling my 2010 Imac to buy the ipad
I cant own them both, could i do most things with the ipad that i currently do with the mac.. Primary usage listed below.........

Lots of photos. lite editing only (just point and shoot camera)

Online stuff & purchasing

Downloading files, Videos etc.(using realplayer downloader)

USB flash drives for off loading stuff (back up)

Have 1TB Harddrive and in around 2 years of having the Imac
iv e used 85GB so Im no power user.

Oh 1 more thing all this yellow tinge to the screen thing thats gripping these
forums,,Us imac guys have put up with it for years no it doesnt go away its there for life. Least getting the new ipad with a yellow cast on the screen wont be a big let down to me just as long as its even across the entire screen.

There is no support for USB offloading.

There's another thread floating around here about a guy attempting to use his iPad as his only computer. I'll link to it if I find it.

Depending on you want to do, it is possible. It is also possible to drain all the water out of a pool with a syringe. It can be a bit difficult....
