To Order online or to not...

Everyone is giving up hope because of "rumors" but since I'm wanting a champagne 5s 16GB, my luck certainly low. No one knows anything, maybe shipment will be arriving in the AM, maybe not. I have AT&T.

So when the order time hits at 3:01, is the site going to blow up cause everyone is ordering?
Or should I wait it out in line?

I am planning on doing both. I do expect the site to blow up though. There are people that want this ASAP that don't want to take time off of work, stand in line, etc. To them launch day will be Monday :)
 
Don't put your hopes in the online store! In germany the store opened up for 5S orders and EVERYONE instantly got delivery within 7-10business days.
Seems like they are screwing us :(
 
I'll tell you this - if I had the opportunity to wait outside the Apple store I would. Not only will the site "blow up" but we don't know when the online orders will be shipped / delivered. It could be a week or two. If I were you I'd head over to the Apple store with the least amount of people. Probably Dadeland or The Falls. I imagine Lincoln would be the most popular, but then again parking would be a pain.

I'm at dadeland, been here since 11:30. When I got here some guy was making "a list"

True, although those are different markets. I hope that because we are a different market it is not am immediate 7 days.
 
Only ordering online if in-store pickup is allowed. Otherwise I'm just gonna go wait on line... I want a 64GB black one anyway, so I'm not too worried...
