I have a broken Titanium Powerbook 800 DVI with a busted graphics chip. I know the chip is reparable but I don't have the time nor patience to deal with it. I also know I could replace the board but this would not be cheap. I have to make a decision about this PowerBook immediately before school gets into full swing. I don't think I can rely 100% on an iBook G3.

So, do you think I should part out the computer for the AP card, 1GB RAM, screen, 2 batteries, etc....or- should I replace the board and get more mileage out of what is still a decent unit. (If I were to replace the board, it would likely be with a 867 or 1GHz model for the better graphics chip)

let me know what you guys think.
