Do apps transfer? I am assuming they do since its tied to an iTunes account right?

Just wondering, I have spent almost $100 already on apps, and would hate to start over again when the iPhone 5 comes out.

as long as you have your phone backed up in your itunes, all you need to do is plug it in your computer and you are good to go

True but you don't even gotta do that if you don't want. You can simply goto the app store and re-download em manually if you so choose. It's all tied to ur iTunes account. So backing up isn't required....if you so choose not too.

All your apps will install onto your new phone as soon as you sync with your iTunes. What will NOT transfer though is your apps' data - unless you restore from the backup of your old phone (an option when setting up your new phone).
