I have decided that I am definitely getting the new iphone, but I am stuck on whether or not to preorder. When I got my 4s, I had preordered late and ended up getting it a week after release, when there were no lines and I could've gotten it from a store that day. I am wondering what the demand will be like for this new phone? Although I had a lot of fun tracking my phone from China and across the US (I'm a geek, I know) I would feel just as much satisfaction from picking one up from a store the day of release. What are your plans?

Yes, preorder.

Apple continues to maintain incredible momentum. Sooner or later that will change, yet there seems to be no sign of it yet.

Pre-Order if it means that much & you have no patience.

Or wait, read some feedback here just in case there's an issue to resolve, then buy one.
