To put these two cover's togerther as one unit

Someone i know put this two cover's togerther to form one unit for there ipad cover and what you do you think of the idea ..Both unit's are in clear cover's and they seam to blend togerther into one unit ..

I had a hard time reading that one too.
From what I can gather, he combined a clear tpu style case and wrapped. Larger rubbery type case on top. Thinking it would cool the iPad down? But my initial thoughts were the extra cover is probably adding heat like wearing 2 jackets in summer would.
