To Restore From Back Or Not?

I just got my new Macbook Pro with Mavericks. Should I restore from backup from my old Macbook Pro or start with a fresh, virgin laptop and slowly bring things over?

It's up to you. Doesn't matter too much either way.

Personally, everytime there's a new OS, I always do clean install then bring things slowly over. This allows me to pinpoint if anything causes the machine to act weird.

Sounds good! I'm leaning that way. So much junk and clutter tends to build up.
