Hi forum;

Would love some feedback.

I'm gearing up to get my first iPhone- long time Adnroid user making the switch. Looking forward to integrating all my tech for personal and work.

Anyway, I waited a year to see what the 10 year anniversary would bring and I am going pass on the X till next year.

Therefore, I am going to either going to:

-Do the IUP and get an 8Plus and if next year does not excite me or bring an X with more GB as an entry then I will keep the phone for another 2 years after.

Or

- I will just grab a 7plus 128GB through Swappa. I can grab one for $600 in near mint with accessories. The only down side is that one doesn't get the one year warranty. I do usually see 2-5 months left on warranties though. And then at this time next year possibly sell or keep.

My question is if people here think that the Swappa price is a good deal for an iPhone 7 Plus and if I should worry about something strange internally happening to the phone since List phones have almost no limited warranty left.

Thoughts, experiences, and advice appreciated.

Thanks!

Can you not add square trade, 1 year warranty, at checkout when you buy the phone?

Decide if the upgrade is worth it.

If you are going to pay monthly, and then upgrade/or sell it on Apple's iUP...that is will cost you less than $600 over 12 months. You can sell the iPhone 8/8 + for equal, or more likely more than you owe on the iUP this time next year. If you trade it in for the next iPhone, you still spent less. Apple care can be cancelled, upon paying off the loan, and you will get a prorated refund.

The iPhone 7 on swappa, may save you money if you buy for $600 and sell for $300 a year from now....so again, i guess it is up to you.

Is the upgrade worth it? Is the monthly payment compared to a lump sum easier for you?

You, most likely, already know the answer and are just second guessing yourself. We all do it...

Thanks. I can afford it but I'm both frugal and want to make a good choice. And totally never thought about being able to pay off IUP and sell. That may change the game for me because the savings on buying Swappa will then be minimal.

As for Square Trade- Yes. I can get square trade. Are they good?

I appreciate your input. Really helpful.
[doublepost=1506906065][/doublepost]It's actually not square trade. It's Warranty Life.
