usually for ipads and iphones the preorder starts at 12/3am

looking at the polls here the 42mm sport space grey is the most popular one

do you think it will be sold out if you wait till morning to order?

i know apple has separate inventory for online and in store , so you could go to the store on release day but who knows if there will be lines

I'm going to try my luck for pre-orders, but I will pick it up in store if they allow that. If I don't get it during pre-orders, I will for sure get to my local store early on the 23rd to camp out. Either way, I'm going to camp out :D

I'll be lining up at an AT&T store to get the plus size 64GB model in silver.

Oh wait! :p

I usually set my alarm for 2:50am, get up, order and go back to bed.

I have a TON of vacation days to use up, but then again, our Apple Store is 10 minutes from my job but the lines may be insane and I'll be standing there all day. I'm probably going to take off and enjoy my three day weekend.

Yup. I'll be getting up to preorder mine at 2am. I'll also be preording one for my wife, who isn't sure if she's getting one yet or not. Her birthday is 4/21, so it will be a nice birthday present surprise. Unfortunately, she'll have to wait an extra 3 days after her birthday to actually get it.

I am not going to risk it.
I will be waiting on line at least 2 days earlier. Maybe 3-4 if I see lines already forming.

Yes, I will stay up late or wake up early, like I successfully did in the past- just this time I won't be home on the day of pre-order. If I fail to pre-order successfully, I am also excited of the possibility of experiencing the atmospheric festivites with fellow fans in the lines. No camping though. Or falling in line in the dark.

Hell yea! My biggest disappointment from the event was that I would have to wait a month before I can preorder.

Wow, you're serious about this lining up business :D For my local store, I'm planning on getting there about 4 or 5 PM on the 23rd, hopefully that'll get me up to the top 20.

I am not sure that the store will have more than 20 of the gold watches in stock, so it isn't worth the risk for me.

Do Apple pre orders normally open at midnight Cupertino time on pre order day?

If so, that's 7am here in the UK, so not too offensive! :D

Australia 5pm pre-order here. (well I hope, same as the iPhone 6/6+ Preorder).
38mm Sport Space Grey for me. $500 price tag though.
Looks to be a nice upgrade from my Kickstarter Pebble.

Nope in terms of pre-order. I'll walk into an Apple Store a week after the launch and order a SS one after trying both the .38 and .42 on for size.

I'm on annual leave for a week so I'll be off work on pre-order day (already booked before event). So I'll probably stay up and pre-order.
