To those that have cancelled online Apple orders

I have a 32gb on order for the July 14th ship date. People in the meetup forums are saying there is still some 32gb left at the Apple store. If I happen to get one there, how long does it take for Apple to release the hold on your money? They drafted my Bank of America for the full amount already.

Edit: Also to clarify, they don't process your upgrade til they ship the phone correct?

I used one of their computers and canceled my order at the store while waiting for a coworker in line behind me. By the time I got home, the hold was gone from my debit card.

My upgrade was processed in the store when I checked out so it's likely they don't finish the processing until it's activated.

You shouldn't have an issue - several of my coworkers went today as well and it was no problem.

The phones that will be shipping out in the next week or two are getting manufactured RIGHT now.

no way they re engineered anything in that time frame.
